Parent-Teacher Conference Week: Monday, Feb.1st-Thurs, Feb. 4th
Parents it is that time again! Conference Week is now upon us. You should have received a Conference Time request from your child’s teacher. Please schedule a conference with your child’s teacher as it is required to receive your student’s report card.
Early Release: Friday, February 5, 2016
Students are dismissed at 12:00 pm SHARP! Students will receive fair tickets on Thursday, February 4th! If you have any questions, please call the main office at (813)238-4900.
Hillsborough County Science Fair: Tuesday, February 9, 2016
KKAHS students, grades 3rd-5th, will be participating in the Annual Hillsborough County Science Fair held at the Tampa Convention Center. Consent forms will be going home on Friday, February 5th. Please have turned in by Monday, February 8th.
Field Trip to Florida Aquarium: Friday, February 19, 2016
King’s Kids Academy of Health Sciences will be attending the Florida Aquarium on February 19th. The students will embark on different science adventures while studying on Marine Life. KG will partake in a interactive lesson on “What’s in My Backyard”, 1st-2nd grade students will enjoy interactive activities called “Operation Tango” and our 3rd-5th grade students will learn animal anatomy by dissecting a squid! Parents be on the look out for field trip form going home on February 5th. All monies due by February 12th! NO EXCEPTIONS!
Black History Program: Friday, February 26, 2016
King’s Kids Academy of Health Sciences will have our Annual Black History Program on Friday, February 26th. All grades will showcase their talents and tributes to our African-American Inventors, leaders, athletes, politicians, civil rights leaders, etc. Please come out and show your support of our students. The program will be held on our campus in the 34th Street Church of God Sanctuary! Please reach the main office if you have any questions.
